Climate variability and agricultural productivity in Uganda

Uganda’s climate is changing in terms of rising temperatures and altered precipitation patterns, leading to extreme meteorological conditions such as prolonged drought, floods landslides. Yet the majority (68%) Ugandans rely largely on rain-fed agriculture, which affected by variability. This study therefore investigates effect variability agricultural productivity Uganda combining long-term data, sourced from United States National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), six waves Panel Survey (UNPS) spanning period 2009 2019.
